Recession Proof History
Recession Proof Extreme, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that imP.R.E.S.S.es financial literacy to disadvantaged adults and at-risk youth. It provides a financial literacy mentorship program with essential tools and strategies that helps its constituents to create businesses and obtain funds to expand their operations and seize new opportunities.
Recession Proof Extreme, Inc. has positively impacted the lives of thousands of members nationwide. It has developed a one-of-a-kind entrepreneurship community that includes business leaders in industries from tech, stock investments, trucking, real estate and cryptocurrency just to name a few. With such a huge reach, the Recession Proof Extreme, Inc. non profit organization was birthed in 2021. It currently boasts 26 chapters nationwide, representing more than 20,000 members.

Syndy Buchanan
National Program Facilitator
Syndy Buchanan, widely known as “Syndy B.”, presently serves as the National Program Facilitator for EYL University powered by Recession Proof, where she exercises her professional Relationship Coaching education and expertise within the organization and its 8 thousand plus membership to help build the bridge between Mentor & Mentee by forming, organizing, and building Chapters & Member Experience across the Country to further provide support for Universal personal and professional growth. Syndy is a proud wife of 13 years to Ryan Buchanan, and mother to two wonderful children, Isaiah and Synia. Residing in Atlanta, GA since 1999, Syndy continues to serve her community with her professional skills, community, and advocacy involvement.
Shalena Broaster
National President
Shalena Broaster is a certified start up coach for consultants, experts and coaches who want to start an online coaching business. She is a graduate of Duke University where she received her Political Science degree. She spent 10 years working as a financial institutions underwriter for a Fortune 500 insurance company. Drawing upon these experiences, she uses her analytical, consulting, and marketing skills to help her clients build thriving online coaching businesses. She has been a featured speaker for online education platforms such as Thinkific, Podia and Fiverr.
Stephanie Arkadie
Vice President of Programs
In her role as the National VP of Programs for EYL University powered by Recession Proof, Stephanie is able to further utilize her passion for financial literacy and entrepreneurship. She develops educational programs that provide individuals with the tools and knowledge they need to take control of their financial futures.
As a certified Mindvalley Life Coach (Mentor) that works with Entrepreneurs, Stephanie guides her clients through personal and professional challenges, helping them harmonize their lives and businesses. Her approach is the MYB Lifestyle concept, which empowers clients to take control of their life outcomes, fostering growth in all areas of their lives
Vernon Tabor
Vice President of Funding
Vernon Tabor is an alum and member of several different professional networks; Bill Daniels College Scholarship Alumn, Inroads Inc. Alumn, Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc and Alliance of Black Telecom Professionals. In 2022 he was inaugurated as the first Colorado chapter president for Recession Proof Extreme. In 2023 he was selected to serve on the Receccion Proof Extreme Inc. National board as the VP of Funds and Development.

Nicole Covello is a Customer Service Support Representative for Earn Your Leisure University Powered by Recession Proof. She helps members resolve their account issues. Customer service has been a part of her career for 15+ years. She owns and operates Popaholiks Popkorn, a custom handmade popcorn business. She is a mom to a wonderful daughter who has been the biggest blessing of her life.
Coytani Umble

Coytani Umble, also known as LexxiCharm, is a motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and founder of several successful companies, including LexxiCharm LLC, A Charming Change Foundation Inc, and The Charm Agency Inc. Based in Las Vegas, Coytani’s mission is to help individuals build confidence and reach their full potential with courses and training programs covering personal and professional development, communication skills, financial literacy, and more. Her inspiring story and work have been featured in various media outlets, and she is a true inspiration to anyone looking to overcome obstacles and achieve their dreams.
Magda Delgado
National Ambassador of Women of Recession Proof
Magda Delgado, a mother to three boys, wife, and author, is a passionate advocate for empowering women to rise above societal limitations and unlock their true potential. Having triumphed over childhood trauma and defying societal expectations as a teen mother, she knows firsthand the power of resilience, self-love, and rewriting one’s own story. As the National Ambassador for Women of Recession Proof, Magda leads a movement of empowerment, fostering a supportive community where women can grow personally and professionally, while making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged girls and women.
